According to a recent report by Reuters Samsung has plans to launch a refurbished smartphone program next year.

The company apparently intends to sell refurbished versions of  its premium smartphones as a way to generate additional revenue.

Samsung has managed to increase its smartphone profits this year with the launch of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge which have been more popular than last years models. The company also recently launched their new Galaxy Note 7 and pre-orders of the device have been very high.

The company now intends to offer refurbished versions of its high end devices, like the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in the US and South Korea.

There are no details as yet on how much of a discount Samsung will offer on these refurbished smartphones over the price of a new handset. This new service will launch some time in 2017, as soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
